About Ms. CataldoHello parents, and welcome to the English 10 website. I am very excited to be working with your children, and I know this will be a great year. I am also looking forward to getting to know many of you over the course of the year, and I encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns. However, since I will not be able to meet with all of you as much as I would like, I did want to briefly introduce myself.
I am originally from the Chicagoland area, but I came to Boston to attend Boston College and I have been in the area ever since. I obtained my bachelor degree from BC in Secondary Education and English and completed four student teaching experiences. I also received a Special Education minor. Following graduation, I stayed at Boston College for a fifth year to obtain my M.Ed. with a focus on English literature, Universal Design for Learning, and classroom technology. I have an SEI endorsement (Sheltered English Immersion), as well as my TELL (Teaching English Language Learners) certificate. I have previously taught 10th grade English at Dedham High School. I am extremely dedicated to my students and passionate about creating innovative and engaging curriculum. I firmly believe that every student in my class can succeed. Each year, my biggest goal is to instill in my students a love and appreciation for literature. Outside of teaching my interests include reading, watching sports, and traveling. |
